Warranty
The PetroGauge Interface Module (PIM) installed under the terms of the Service and Lease Agreement between the Customer and PetroGauge is not owned by the lessee, but is used under the terms of an "operating lease" defined as an agreement conveying the right to use equipment when the equipment will not be sold to the lessee at the end of the lease‘s term.
During the term of the lease, PetroGauge shall retain ownership of the PIM and is responsible for its operation and maintenance. Simply stated, if the PIM ceases to function PetroGauge will replace it. While there may be a service fee, there will be no charge for the PIM.
The cost of leasing a PIM is included in the installation fee and the monthly service fee paid to PetroGauge. If the lease is terminated, PetroGauge will remove the PIM and its associated hardware.
